Bursary description
Implats extends bursaries to candidates who meet the minimum eligibility criteria, which include securing a university exemption pass and achieving a minimum C symbol in mathematics and science. These bursaries encompass:
Coverage of registration and tuition fees for the entire course duration.
Assistance with residence fees.
A cash allowance.
A personal computer allowance starting from the second year of study.
Recipients of Implats bursaries are obligated to commit to working for the company throughout the bursary period and engage in vacation work with the company at the conclusion of each academic year.

Engineering (encompassing Mining, Metallurgy, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical - heavy current).
Chemistry (up to honours level).
Geology (up to honours level).
Accounting (up to honours level).
