The South African National Roads Agency (SANRAL) works with the government to finance, improve, manage and maintain the roads throughout South Africa.
Bursary description
The SANRAL scholarship is for HIGH SCHOOL learners who perform substantially well academically. Applicants do not need to have an exact career path in mind, SANRAL uses this opportunity to give back to the communities of South Africa, not just to create engineers.
Requirements and eligibility
You must be a South African citizen
You must get 70% and above for Pure Maths
You must get 70% and above for Physical Science
You must get 65% and above for English
You must achieve an overall overage of 75% and above
Be financially needy
How to apply
Learners need to download the application form, complete it and post or hand deliver it with the following supporting documents:
Letters of motivation (stating why you're deserving and in need of the scholarship) by: your parents, yourself (2 pages), from your school
Certified copy of your June school results
Certified copy of your ID document or birth certificate
Certified copies of your parent's ID documents
Proof of residence (water or electricity bill)
Proof of income (parents)/ sworn affidavit (stating parent's income)
