Standard Bank, in partnership with StudyTrust, offers full cost bursaries to students who have demonstrated academic and leadership potential, who are currently in Grade 12 and will be in their first (1st) year of study.
Bursaries will be awarded to students who intend on undertaking their studies in one of the following fields:
Business Mathematics and Informatics
Finance (B Com)
Accounting (CA /Non-CA)
Information Systems (B Com)
Law (B Com/ LLB)
Quantitative Risk Management
Supply Chain Management
Economics and Management
Computational and Applied Mathematics
Requirements and eligibility
Selection will be done on the basis of Grade 11 final results, Grade 12 June results and Grade 12 Pre-lim results.
The minimum requirements are:
South African citizen
Currently in Matric
Will be in your first year of tertiary study within one of the aforementioned fields of study in 2019
Achieved a minimum result of 60% for English HL OR 70% for English FAL in Matric
Achieved a minimum result of 70% for Physical Science in Matric
Achieved a minimum result of 75% for Mathematics in Matric
Achieved a minimum overall average of 70% in Matric
