    Company description

The Tomorrow Trust is a non-profit organisation based in South Africa, which was established in 2005 to provide comprehensive support to orphaned and vulnerable children, with the aim of ensuring they receive an integrated education. The organisation collaborates with government, businesses, and individuals in South Africa to achieve a society with holistic and conscious leaders.

The Tomorrow Trust believes that every day presents an opportunity to positively impact a child's future, and to help them achieve a brighter tomorrow, from their early years to their chosen profession. Anyone can support their mission by getting involved today.

    Bursary description

The Tomorrow Trust Tertiary Programme provides financial aid in the form of full or partial bursaries to students pursuing various degrees at different institutions. The primary objective is to support and facilitate the development of young adults who are self-sufficient, problem-solvers, and socially responsible individuals capable of achieving a successful life. The programme achieves this by providing ongoing support and mentorship from in-house psychologists, along with various experiential learning activities that students undertake during their time with the Tomorrow Trust. The programme aims to create an inclusive environment where all students feel safe and nurtured, and where they can learn, grow, and fail without fear of judgment or discrimination. The programme recognises that success is not always linear, and hence provides personalised support to students as they navigate through their academic and personal lives.

Students in the programme receive full or partial financial support covering tuition fees, textbooks, accommodation, food, and transport. Additionally, the programme provides on-going psycho-social and academic support through in-house psychologists, monthly workshops to develop essential personal and professional skills, networking opportunities, vacation work, and work readiness experiences, volunteering opportunities with Grades R - Grades 12 at Tomorrow Trust, belonging to a diverse community with numerous opportunities to learn, grow and explore, and lifetime alumni membership upon graduation. By joining the Tertiary Programme, students can commit and invest in their personal growth and development, helping them reach their true potential both academically and personally.
