Bursary description
The UJ Merit Bursary is granted to students upon their application, primarily taking into account their past academic achievements.
Requirements and eligibility
UJ Master's Merit Bursary
• Students with an average mark between 70-74% in their
Honours / final year of a four year degree
• Students with an average mark equal to or greater than
75% in their Honours / final year of a four year degree
UJ Doctoral Merit Bursary
• Students with an average mark between 70-74% in their Master's
• Students with an average mark equal to or greater than 75%
in their Master's
Students from other South African tertiary education intuitions must accompany their application with their certified academic record.
