About NMISA

The National Metrology Institute of South Africa (NMISA) is a world-class institution that is responsible for establishing, maintaining and improving the South African National Measurement System. With over 80 years of experience, NMISA has a rich history in the field of metrology, which is the science of measurement. NMISA plays a crucial role in ensuring that measurements made in South Africa are accurate, reliable and internationally recognized. About this Bursary

NMISA is offering undergraduate and post-graduate bursaries at a recognised South African university in the following fields of study: - Engineering (Electrical/ Electronic, Mechanical) - Materials Science - Physics and Chemistry Once successfully graduated, bursary winners will follow an exciting career at NMISA in the Science of accurate Measurement (Metrology).

Eligibility Requirements

The minimum criteria applicants must meet, are as follows: - South African citizen - Academic merit/ high academic achiever - In financial need - Registered to study full-time in one of the aforementioned fields of study - Registered to study at a recognised university in South Africa
