About this Bursary

Each year, Pyrotec awards bursaries to deserving students, particularly those studying within the following fields of study: Electrical Engineering Industrial Engineering Mechanical Engineering Finance Graphic Design/ DTP Psychology Marketing Sales The bursary will cover the following expenses: tuition fees, registration fees, accommodation (single room at university hostel) and an annual allowance of maximum R10 000 for textbooks.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered): South African resident Completed Matric OR currently in Matric Studying or intend on studying in one of the aforementioned fields of study AA/EE student Preference will be given to first-year students with a minimum average of 70% overall grade.
