Bursary description
The Norah Taylor Bursary is a financial assistance program offered by the South African Council for English Education (SACEE) to support the education of deserving students who wish to pursue English studies at a tertiary level. The bursary is available to students who are South African citizens or permanent residents and are currently studying towards a degree, diploma or certificate in English at a recognized tertiary institution in South Africa.
Requirements and eligibility
Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying:
South African citizen
Completed Matric/ Grade 12 year
Intend on studying within one of the aforementioned fields of study (correspondence/ part-time/ full-time) (see ‘about’ above)
Intend on studying at an educational institution within South Africa
Are a qualified teacher with a minimum M+3 AND Have a minimum of 4 years teaching experience
