    Bursary description

    The Siemens Bursary is looking to award funding to students with interest in the field of engineering. The company is a leader in the fields of electronics and electrical engineering and provides systems, solutions, and products throughout the automation, digitalisation and electrification value chain.

    You will be considered for the bursary if you have interest in the following: Electrical Engineering (BEng/ BSc), Electronic Engineering (BEng/ BSc) or Industrial Engineering (BEng/ BSc).

    The Siemens Bursary programme would cover registration fees, tuition, examination fees, prescribed books, computer allowance, accommodation in residence, meals as well as a pocket money allocation.

    Requirements and eligibility

    The minimum entry criteria for applicants must be as follows:

    - South African citizen
    - Studying full-time in one of the aforementioned fields
    - Studying at a recognised university in South Africa
    - Achieved high academic results

    *Preference will be given to students from previously disadvantaged backgrounds.

    How to apply

    Applicants are to submit the following:

      • A covering letter (a template can be downloaded and edited here or you can write your own)
      • ID document (certified copy)
      • Matric students: latest Matric results AND proof of acceptance into a tertiary institution (on tertiary letterhead),
      • Tertiary students: Matric certificate (certified copy) AND full academic record/ transcript (on tertiary institution letterhead),
      • CV
