Sizwe Ntsaluba Gobodo (SNG) is a firm founded and managed by a group of black Chartered Accountants. The company's name serves as a tribute to Nonkululeko Gobodo, who holds the distinction of being the first black female Chartered Accountant in South Africa. SNG's core expertise lies in delivering audit, advisory, and forensic business solutions and services. Operating from a network of twelve offices across the nation, SNG has garnered numerous accolades in recognition of their outstanding contributions.
Bursary description
The Sizwe Ntsaluba Gobodo bursary scheme is tailored to aid students who have a sincere desire to embark on a Chartered Accountancy career. Prospective applicants are expected to exhibit a notable degree of professionalism, maintain a balanced and objective perspective, uphold rigorous ethical principles, and exhibit exceptional technical competencies.
Throughout its history, SNG has effectively supported a multitude of black students in realizing their ambitions of attaining the esteemed Chartered Accountancy qualification, thanks to their bursary programme.
Requirements and eligibility
Applicants must satisfy the following criteria before applying:
Grade 11 or Grade 12 student
Achieving a minimum of 60% in English and Mathematics
In need of financial assistance (previously disadvantaged individual)
Intend on becoming a Chartered Accountant (CA)
