    Afrox was founded in 1927, listed on the JSE in 1963, and has prospered by constantly meeting the needs of customers and developing solutions that add value to customers’ applications.

    Our Parent company, The Linde Group, is a global gases, engineering, and technology company.

    Afrox operates in South Africa and in nine other African countries and manages operations in five more countries on behalf of The Linde Group.

    Bursary description

    The Afrox bursary is open to applicants who will be studying or who are currently studying an undergraduate degree in the engineering faculty.

    Requirements and eligibility

    Applicants who want to apply for the Afrox bursary need to meet the following requirements below.

    • Average pass mark of 60% in the chosen field of study (Mechanical, Industrial, Metallurgical and Chemical Engineering)
    • Preference will be given to individuals from previously disadvantaged groups
