The W&RSETA bursary programme is open to students who are studying (or intend to study) within the Wholesale and Retail Sector Scarce Skills.
The Wholesale and Retail Sector Education and Training Authority (W&RSETA) is a public organisation, formed to encourage skill development in the Wholesale and Retail sector by way of grants, bursaries, training and learnerships. The W&RSETA’s aim is to become South Africa’s leader in skills development. They aim to do this by helping students develop their capabilities, skills, competencies and the professional workforce in order to better the wholesale and retail sectors.
Requirements and eligibility
Minimum criteria in order to qualify:
Must be a South African citizen
Accepted as a full-time student in any of the selected fields, at any South African tertiary institution (University / University of Technology / TVET Colleges)
Studying (or intend on studying) full-time in one of the required fields
Do NOT have any other sources of funding for your studies
