    Bursary description

    Armscor, recognised as the Armaments Corporation of South Africa, has partnered with the defense sector to extend bursaries to exceptional students through the Armscor Bursary Scheme. The primary objective of this initiative is to address the scarcity of science and engineering expertise within the defense industry. It places a particular emphasis on improving the performance of Mathematics, Science, and technical subjects in schools. These bursaries are targeted towards learners hailing from disadvantaged backgrounds who aspire to pursue full-time academic studies in the fields of engineering and science.

    Requirements and eligibility

    Submit clear copies of the following supporting documentation along with your completed application form (the submission of these documents is compulsory – if any items are missing, your application be disregarded):

      • ATTACH COVER LETTER STATING YOUR FIELD OF INTEREST AND MOTIVATION
      • ATTACH LATEST GRADE 12 RESULTS AND ACADEMIC TRANSCRIPT TO DATE
      • ATTACH PROOF OF REGISTRATION
      • ATTACH CERTIFIED COPY OF THE APPLICANT’S SOUTH AFRICAN ID
      • ATTACH CERTIFIED COPIES OF PARENT(S) OR GUARDIAN'S SOUTH AFRICAN ID’S
      • ATTACH PROOF OF PARENT(S) OR GUARDIAN(S) INCOME (SALARY ADVICE) OR AFFIDAVIT IF UNEMPLOYED
      • ATTACH DEATH CERTIFICATE IF PARENT(s) ARE DECEASED
