Cipla Medpro , a leading pharmaceutical company in South Africa, is responsible for manufacturing high-quality medication at reasonable prices. As a subsidiary of Cipla India, Cipla Medpro is among the largest pharmaceutical firms in the country in terms of both volume and value. In 2001, they became the first African company to release a triple combination ARV medication, which gained international acclaim and has since assisted millions of patients. Cipla Medpro provides patients with a variety of over-the-counter (OTC) and prescribed medicines for a range of health issues and illnesses.

About this Bursary

Bursaries will be awarded to those studying towards one of the following qualifications (undergraduate or postgraduate): Computer and Information Sciences Engineering Economic Management Sciences Graphic Design Health Sciences Human Sciences, Industrial Psychology, Human Resources Manufacturing – logistics; demand planning; production; warehousing Natural Sciences Pharmacists (internships available at our manufacturing sites) Social Sciences – Digital Marketing and Communications Supply Chain *Bursaries will also be awarded to Postgraduate students in the above relevant degree qualifications.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying: You must be a South African citizen You must be between 18 and 33 years old You must have completed Matric You must be studying towards a qualification in one of the fields listed above You must have completed your first year of study You must be starting your 2nd, 3rd, 4th or later year of study in 2022 You must be studying at a recognised and accredited public tertiary institution in South Africa You must have achieved a minimum overall average of 70% for your most recent year completed You must be able to maintain a minimum overall average of 70% each year You must be willing to partake in vacation work during holidays You must be willing to apply to the Cipla Graduate Skills Program after graduation You must be highly motivated

How to Apply

Only applications submitted through the Cipla careers online application system will be considered. Incomplete applications will not be accepted. To be eligible for funding, you must be studying a field listed in the 'Fields of Study'. You'll need to submit a single-page CV with a photo, along with your contact numbers/emails and South African identity number in PDF format. If you're requesting funding for something specific, like private accommodation, you'll need to provide supporting documents. If you don't provide the necessary documents, you won't receive any funding. If your funding application is approved, the money will be credited to your institute student account. You can only receive funding once per year. Funding decisions will be made by 30th March. Your funding will be reviewed annually. Funding will continue if you maintain a 70% average.
