Land Bank's primary mission is to cater to the needs of South African commercial and emerging agriculture by providing specialised financial services accessible to farmers nationwide. These services encompass financing options for land acquisition, equipment, asset improvement and production credit. The institution has evolved into a dedicated South African development finance entity, with an unwavering commitment to equitable service for all farmers. Land Bank currently have no bursary programmes running at this present time, and will provide more information should things develop further during the course of the year.​ Land Bank is committed to creating opportunities for youth to participate in the agricultural sector. One of the ways in which we do this is through the Land Bank Bursary Scheme. The programme is focused on developing a pipeline of young talent not only to feed directly into Land Bank, but into the agricultural sector at large.

Eligibility Requirements

Land Bank currently has no bursary programmes running at this present time, and will provide more information should things develop further during the course of the year.​ Must be a South African citizen. An undergraduate student. Currently enrolled or planning to enroll full-time in one of the specified fields of study (2nd year, 3rd year, or 4th year). Already registered at a South African University , University of Technology , or Agricultural College for the 2025 academic year (excluding first-year students). Demonstrates strong academic performance and exhibits exceptional academic potential. Expresses a genuine interest in pursuing a career within the agricultural sector. Can demonstrate a clear financial need. Is not currently receiving funding from any other bursary scheme.
