About SANSA

The South African National Space Agency (SANSA) was established in December 2010, but South Africa's engagement in space research and activities dates back several decades. The country played a role in supporting early international space endeavors during the latter half of the 20th century and also conducted observations of Earth's magnetic field from various stations located in Southern Africa.
